How To Enable 2-Factor Authentication in WordPress Using miniOrange Authenticator

First thing you need to do is install and activate the two-factor authentication plugin by miniOrange.

Upon activation, the plugin adds a “miniOrange 2-Factor” menu item to your WordPress admin bar. Clicking on it will take you to the plugin’s settings page.

Here you can setup an account or login if you already registered with miniOrange. Enter required information:

  • A valid email address
  • Company/organization
  • A strong password

Then hit “Submit” button.

You will be asked to validate One Time Passcode (OTP). You can get this information to the email provided above. Now, go to your account and look for the code.

After entering your One Time Passcode click on the “Validate OTP” button to save your settings.

In case OTP code expires, just click on the “Resend OTP” to received new code.
