    I like your list. However, I find jetpack really awesome.
    I get enough of all the plugins listed here in one plugin. Like I need backups, I get it in vaultpress and for spam protection and security, Akismet takes care of it. Well, there are ton of plugins installed in my wordpress site but it works faster than others. (but people say to use minimum plugins. auto backup is the key :P) What do you think?
